Currently, leads from signup forms go to your general Audience.
To segment them, you’ll need to manually add them to a specific audience, or click on the Contact and tag them with the attribute so the contacts are added to a dynamic condition-based audience. For example, once you have a new form submission, you can tag that contact as an 'Influencer' and they will automatically be included in your Influencer audience.
We’re working on new features to let you:
- Automatically add subscribers to a static audience after form submission.
- Automatically tag subscribers so they appear in dynamic audiences after form submission.
Workaround: Add a question to your form, like “Do you want to subscribe?” (Yes/No), and save the response as an attribute. Use this attribute to create audience segments.
For example, you could create a dynamic Audience segment for Influencers, that includes anyone who has Influencer attribute set to "Yes. Then, when a contact signs up using your form and clicks "Yes" when subscribing, they are automatically added to an dynamic segment for influencers.
Thanks for your patience as we improve this process!
