Yes.

You can create a Dynamic Audience Segment to automatically filter out subscribers who don’t engage with your emails. For example, you might set up a segment for people who haven’t opened or clicked in the last 10 or 20 emails. Then, simply exclude that segment whenever you send a campaign.

How to set this up:

  1. Go to Audiences > Create Segment.

  2. Choose Dynamic Audience.

  3. Select the condition: Has not opened OR clicked in the last [X] days.

  4. Save it as “Inactive Subscribers.”

  5. When creating a campaign, check Exclude Segment and pick “Inactive Subscribers.”

Why this matters:

  • Protects your deliverability (ISPs see you’re only mailing active users).

  • Improves campaign performance (higher open/click rates).

  • Prevents bothering people who aren’t interested.

Pro tip:

You don’t have to forget about these people completely. Add a Re-Engagement Automation just for them — e.g. “Still want to hear from us?” or a special offer. If they still don’t respond, then keep them excluded.
